چکیده
مطالعات کلمه-تصویر یکی حوزه­های نوین مطالعاتی است که توجه دانشگاهیان را به خود جلب کرده است. از جمله اصطلاحات رایج در این حوزه مطالعاتی اصطلاح اکفراسیس است. این اصطلاح را عمدتاً به معنای توصیف کلامی یک امر دیداری درک می­کنند. اما چنین درکی چندان با معانی کلاسیک این اصطلاح همسو نیست. برای رسیدن به درکی بهتر از معنای اکفراسیس بررسی سوابق بلاغی­ـ­فلسفی آن با تکیه بر مفهومی به نام انارگیا اهمیت فراوان دارد. انارگیا در واقع توصیف رسا و جاندار امور است به نحوی که احساس کنیم پیش چشم ما جان گرفته­اند. در این مقاله ضمن بررسی سوابق بلاغی اصطلاح انارگیا و مقایسه آن با مفهومی متفاوت اما هم­آوا با آن به نام انرگیا، بر بحث افلاطون در این حوزه متمرکز می­شویم تا اهمیت فلسفی این اصطلاح را نیز نشان دهیم و سوابق کلاسیک آن را استخراج کنیم. در نتیجه خواهیم دید که چنانکه استلزامات فلسفی­ـ­بلاغی تعابیری را که در حوزه­های نوین پژوهش همچون حوزه مطالعات کلمه­-­تصویر به کار بسته می­شوند در نظر نگیریم چه بسا با کج­فهمی­های عمده در این زمینه روبرو شویم و لذا نتوانیم مطالعات این حوزه را به نحو مقتضی به پیش ببریم.

Word-image studies are one of the new areas of study that has attracted the attention of academics. Among the commonly used terms in this field is the term "ekphrasis". This term is mainly understood as a verbal description of a visual representation. But such an understanding does not accord with the classical meanings of this term. In order to get a better understanding of the meaning of "ekphrasis", it is important to investigate its philosophical-rhetorical background term known as enargeia. Enargeia means to describe and put before the eyes of the audience. While analyzing the rhetorical term of enargeia and comparing it with its affiliated concept of energeia, this paper would focus on Plato's discussion in this area to illustrate the philosophical significance of the term and extract its classical records as well. As a result, we will consider that the philosophical implications of the concepts that are used in the new fields of research, such as that of word-image studies, are of utmost importance without which it would not be possible to advance the new studies appropriately.
