چکیده
هدف: هدف پژوهش مقایسه هویت و انگیزه ورزشی و رابطه بین آنها در ورزشکاران با و بدون سابقه آسیب دیدگی اسکلتی-عضلانی بود.
روش‌ها: روش پژوهش علّی-مقایسه‌ای با هدف کاربردی بود. در این مطالعه 120 ورزشکار حرفه‌ای و نیمه حرفه‌ای از رشته‌های مختلف ورزشی شرکت داشتند که 77 نفر از آن‌ها دارای سابقه آسیب‌دیدگی عضلانی-اسکلتی بودند. نمونه‌گیری به صورت دردسترس و هدفمند بود. از مقیاس انگیزه ورزشی اصلاح شده (SMS-II) پی لیتیر و همکاران و مقیاس هویت ورزشی (AIMS) بروئر و همکاران به منظور سنجش انگیزه و هویت ورزشی ورزشکاران استفاده شد. با آزمون تی مستقل داده‌ها تحلیل شدند.
یافته ها: هویت ورزشی به طور معناداری در گروه با سابقه آسیب‌دیدگی کمتر از گروه بدون سابقه آسیب بود اما تفاوتی در انگیزه ورزشی بین دو گروه وجود نداشت.
نتیجه گیری: بنابراین توصیه می‌شود که در برنامه‌های توان‌بخشی روانی بعد از آسیب، تغیرات هویت ورزشی  و انگیزه ورزشی به عنوان یک فاکتور موثر بر خودپنداره را مد‌نظر قرار داد.

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to compare athletes' identity and sport motivation and the relationship between them in athletes with and without a history of musculoskeletal injuries.
Methods: The research was applied and causal-comparative. 120 professional and semi-professional athletes from various sports fields participated in this research, with 77 of them having a history of musculoskeletal injury. Sampling was convenience and purposeful. The Revised Sports Motivation Scale (SMS-II) by Littier et al. and the Sports Identity Scale (AIMS) by Brewer et al. were used to measure the motivation and athletes' identity. Data were analyzed with an independent t-test.
Results: Sports identity was significantly lower in the group with a history of injury than in the group without a history of injury, but there was no difference in sports motivation between the two groups.
Conclusion: Therefore, it is recommended to consider changes in athletes' identity and sport motivation as an effective factor in self-concept in psychological rehabilitation programs after injury.
